Album cover: Tweez by Slint


This is the cover of the album Tweez issued by the band Slint in 1989. Someone told me, that it was mentioned somewhere, that to the band the album sounded like Saab, so they used a Saab as the cover page.

The band wasn't by far a one release show, the members appeared in a number of bands, some of them known, Zwan (Billy Corgan), The Breeders (4AD in the strong phase) or Interpol. The sound sounds familiar from that time (early RHCP, Dif Juz, King Crimson 80's time etc).
