Saab in computer games

I recently found IGCD.net which collects and lists car is various computer games. There is a section covering Saabs, where some of the Saabs are really nice. Here is a short listing of the nicest with some real data or links.

Forza Motorsport 2 had a Saab 9-3 Viggen produced between 1998 and 2002, a high-powered version with the turbocharged 2.3 liter B235R engine providing 225HP (later 230HP) and 342Nm. It had also a different body style than the regular 9-3 hatchback. You can find a Viggen overview here.

This is again a 9-3 Viggen from Midtown Madness 3. In reality 4600 9-3 Viggens were produced. One of them is in our Puppy Hunters Saabclub. You can see it on the first photo in this post, the blue one.

This is again a Viggen, but this time a convertible used in Downtown Run (2003). You can see it in reality in this post, really an extremely nice piece.

This is a Saab 99 Turbo used in Forza Motorsport 3, american version. In reality Saab 99 was produced from 1968 to 1984, the Turbo version came was introduced in 1978. This is a 1979 metallic green Turbo two-door coupe. In the game it was configurable, so the author of the screenshot knew exactly what he is driving in the game. There is a Saab 99 enthusiasts site online and you can even see in-game videos here.

You can see 43 more Saabs in computer games on the IGCD website, several of them have very nice screenshot.
